• Attracted STX deposits from funds investing in the Bitcoin ecosystem

• Reached a TVL of $60M+ in two months and the stSTX-sUSDT trading pair went live

But what are the next steps for the Stacking DAO roadmap?

Stacking DAO is all about delivering value to stackers, growing the Stacks DeFi ecosystem, and creating a strong validator network.
So here is the plan for the upcoming months:

By the end of Q1, the Stacking DAO community can expect:

1. Borrowing and lending stSTX on Zest Protocol is imminent
   ‍
2. Depositing in Stacking DAO via LockStack interface live in a week
   ‍
3. Minting USDA with stSTX on Arkadiko 2.0 in Q1
   ‍
4. Launching many more stSTX trading pairs by the end of Q1

With these integrations, it will be possible to experiment with more complex DeFi strategies involving stSTX.

Instead, the Q2 period will be focused on:

1. Launching stSTX earn vaults with a Stacks DeFi app yet to be announced
   ‍
2. Enabling stSTX swaps on other DeFi protocols
   ‍
3. Become a sBTC signer once the Nakamoto upgrade is live
   ‍
4. Launching a validator incentive program to decentralize the Stacking ecosystem
   ‍
5. Starting open-source initiatives that make Stacking a better experience

These milestones will further establish Stacking DAO as the gateway for Stacks DeFi growth and bootstrapping a strong validator network.

Finally, as Stacking DAO keeps growing and new DeFi protocols emerge, expect new exciting partnerships and milestones to be added to the roadmap.
