The Stacks community keeps adding liquidity to earn stacking rewards, pushing Stacking DAO to a new all-time high with 77M STX deposited and over 42,000 holders. As Kevin Williams noted, about 4.49% of the total STX supply is now on Stacking DAO, leaving plenty of liquidity still to unlock.

DeFi Updates Related to Stacking DAO

The new Bitflow stSTX-STX Flex Pool, which uses a variable midpoint, is live. It makes early unstacking much more affordable, and liquidity providers can earn an additional 10%+ APY on top of their stacking yield.

Liquid Stacking tokens (LSTs) like stSTX and stSTXbtc are becoming increasingly valuable as collateral for Stacks. With Stacking DAO LSTs offering yields of up to 10% APY, it’s now possible to earn a net positive yield by borrowing at low rates—such as USDh on Zest—at this moment.
